HOW FAST WILL MY ORDER BE PROCESSED?
We do not guarantee same day shipping. Printed envelopes must go through prepress and production to be fulfilled, and have a production time associated with them.
We typically process and ship orders Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PST. While we are usually closed Saturday, Sunday and major holidays we may at our discretion process and/or ship orders on these days due to a heavier than normal production schedule.
Shipping times are dependent on your location. Check the UPS Shipping Map for more detailed information on estimated transit time.
HOW DO I CANCEL AN ORDER?
Order cancellations must be submitted by email to email@example.com. Be sure to include your order number when making your request. Order cancellations will be subject to a $20.00 charge if you have approved your proof, but your order has not been printed. This fee is to compensate ThriftyEnvelopes.com for time spent on your order in prepress and production setup. Orders that are already in the process of printing cannot be cancelled.
Please allow up to 10 business days for any refunded monies to be credited to your account.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Since each print order is unique to each individual Customer, and has no re-sale value, All Sales Are Final. If we verify that we made an error, we will re-print the order at no additional charge. No Refunds or Credits on Printed Products.
Shipping charges are non-refundable for undelivered, unclaimed, or refused packages, unless we made an error in addressing the package that caused the package to be misdelivered or returned to us unable to be delivered. When a package is not delivered due to an error made by you in submitting the proper shipping address, ThriftyEnvelopes.com will reship the package with corrected address and charge an additional shipping fee for the shipment. The additional shipping fee will apply even if the original order was shipped without a fee to you, such as with “Free Shipping” offers.
You must notify ThriftyEnvelopes.com within four business days of order receipt to notify us of any defects discovered in the ordered product. In order to receive a replacement, you should notify ThriftyEnvelopes.com by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, describing the error, and including a photo or scanned image of the problem. We will review the information and determine if a replacement is warranted. In some cases, we may request the defective product be returned to us at the expense of ThriftyEnvelopes.com. If we determine that the misprinted product should be returned to us, you must return 100% of the received product to us. A return address will be provided to you at the time we request return of the defective product. The replacement product will not be shipped until the returned product is received or if, with prior approval, proof of shipment is provided. You can use whatever delivery service you choose (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) for returning defective product. We highly recommend that you get a tracking number to be able to verify that we received the return.
If you send back a return that is not eligible for a replacement, it is your responsibility to pay an additional shipping charge if you would like the product returned to you.
You will not receive a refund for the original shipping charges, or any costs you may choose to incur to ship back unwanted product, except in extreme situations which must be approved by ThriftyEnvelopes.com, at our discretion, prior to the return of products.
All charges related to expediting an order (Rush Printing or Shipping) are NOT REFUNDABLE, including for those orders that are returned for any reason. ThriftyEnvelopes.com is liable only for replacement of the printed order and not for any costs outside of this, for any reason.

ARE INK COLORS GUARANTEED TO BE EXACT?
ThriftyEnvelopes.com will reproduce color from submitted print-ready files as closely as possible, but cannot exactly match intended color and density because of limitations in the printing process. If you specify a Pantone color, we will match that color as closely as possible. Exact Pantone Color matches are not possible due to the conversion that takes place with process color printing. Due to differences in paper color, brightness, and paper finish, printed colors will look different on all substrates. Inks are transparent and their color appearance will be affected by the color and tone of the paper.
WILL I RECEIVE THE EXACT NUMBER OF ENVELOPES I ORDER?
Due to variations in envelope manufacturing, as well as expected loss during setup and printing, you may find that cartons, boxes, and packs may not contain the exact number of envelopes specified or ordered. It is common for the quantity to be + or - 10%. If you discover a shortage in excess of these percentages contact Customer Service. You should account for this variation when ordering for purposes that require a specific quantity of finished envelopes - always order the next quantity available if you need an exact amount, such as for a mailing project.
WHAT BRANDS OF ENVELOPES ARE USED AND DOES THAT EVER CHANGE?
ThriftyEnvelopes.com does not guarantee the availability of any specific brands and styles of envelopes, and information regarding availability of specific envelopes is subject to change without further notice. The manufacturer may limit availability at times, and some envelopes may not be available for immediate shipment. ThriftyEnvelopes.com reserves the right to make changes in brand, style, and paper stock at any time without notice, for any reason.
ThriftyEnvelopes.com also reserves the right without liability or prior notice to revise, discontinue, or refuse to make available any of our envelopes, or to cancel any order in our sole discretion at any time. ThriftyEnvelopes.com shall not be responsible for any pictorial or typographical inaccuracies. We reserve the right to revoke an accepted order and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including after an order has been submitted and accepted.
WHAT IF I NEED HELP WITH THE ART FILE OR DESIGN LAYOUT?
We can help with your layout if you aren`t able to send print-ready files. For a $20 fee, you can send us an idea of what you want. You can upload your logo, a scanned image of your existing envelope, a text file, or whatever you have that will show us what you want. We`ll combine it all into a layout and send you a pdf proof for approval. Just click on the Design Services product and proceed with the checkout process. Upload or email all the files you can supply and we`ll take it from there.
WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR SETTING UP ART FILES FOR PRINTING?
We strongly recommend that content uploaded to ThriftyEnvelopes.com for printing follow these basic guidelines:
• Files Set up at a minimum of 300 DPI at 1:1 size ratio (or 100%). Do not send files that are not the correct size. Enlarging and/or reducing files may result in an undesirable print result. Content that does not meet this standard may experience text or images that are fuzzy, blurred, pixilated, or otherwise distorted for which ThriftyEnvelopes.com does not accept any responsibility. We reserve the right to reject content that does not meet this standard, but we do not assume any obligation to verify that the content meets this criterion.
• Designed in CMYK and uploaded in CMYK mode with no embedded color profile. All artwork or designs and images should be provided in CMYK format. You may upload in RGB or some other standard if you choose, however, the color will be converted. ThriftyEnvelopes.com is not responsible for the color shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK color modes. This conversion is a necessary step in printing envelope orders.
WILL I RECEIVE A PROOF?
As a part of your order process, we will produce a PDF proof for your review. We will email a proof created from your supplied files. It is your responsibility to review the proof in its entirety. We highly recommend printing a copy of your proof file if possible so that you can compare sizing of fonts, logos, and other elements.
Ink colors on your proof are a basic representation of the ink colors that will be printed. Actual ink color printed will be different from what is shown on a computer monitor. Ink colors will be affected by paper colors, but a monitor is not. All proofs are shown on a white envelope background. You will not see the paper color selected on your PDF proof. It will only show the content to be printed.
Screen proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density. ThriftyEnvelopes.com will try its best to match the intended gradient density of each color, but is not liable for the final appearance of colors.
WHAT ABOUT SPELLING AND GRAMMAR?
ThriftyEnvelopes.com is NOT LIABLE for errors in a final product caused by any of the following: misspelling, grammar, punctuation, graphics, bleeds, placement of artwork, damaged fonts, finished product size, or other design and layout errors.
WILL I BE NOTIFIED OF LOW QUALITY IMAGES OR ARTWORK?
As a courtesy, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you of poor image and file quality during the proofing process when possible. We may not be able to interpret your intended result or assume what your expectation of the output should be. Our prepress department checks most artwork files before printing, but you are still 100% responsible for the accuracy of your print-ready artwork files, and we encourage you to proofread all files carefully before submitting them to ThriftyEnvelopes.com.
WHAT ARE THE POST OFFICE REQUIREMENTS FOR MAILING ENVELOPES?
As postal regulations are subject to change, you are also 100% responsible for complying with current mailing restrictions for your layouts. Check with your local U.S. Post Office if you have questions about mailing data, barcodes, placement of copy, etc. ThriftyEnvelopes.com is not responsible for any costs caused by additional expense or untimely delivery due to refusal of the USPS to mail envelopes that do not meet their criteria, or for the return of mail to you that did not meet their requirements.
CAN I GET A COPY OF THE ART FILE FROM A PREVIOUS ORDER?
We advise that you maintain a copy of all files and content that you upload to ThriftyEnvelopes.com, as we may not be able to send back any of your files or content at any given time.
After printing, your content and the proofs sent to you may be removed or deleted at any time without notice. However, content and proofs will typically remain available for as long as your account is active, barring catastrophic data loss. This will allow for easy reordering of the same product.
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR PRINTING?
Our published production times are guidelines, are not guaranteed, and are subject to change. They are our best estimate based on current workload. Throughout the year, the production times will change due to heavier than normal workloads. If you have any questions, please contact ThriftyEnvelopes.com prior to placing your order if you must have your envelopes by a certain date, and we will let you know if we can meet your deadline.
Production time begins upon proof approval, or the next business day for proofs approved after 5:00 p.m. PST. Turnaround times for jobs that ThriftyEnvelopes.com does not deem production ready (e.g., those with problems or that require a new proof) will not begin until the job is approved and ready for production.
For supplied art files, your proof will be ready for review on the next business day. Your printed envelopes will ship 2-3 business days after your proof approval.

ThriftyEnvelopes.com will always act to make sure that completion dates are met. However, unexpected equipment failure, malfunction, and/or technical problems may delay the printing process. In case of delay caused by technical difficulty, rush charges or fees will be refunded or waived where applicable. However, technical difficulty will not be grounds for order cancellation.
WHICH CARRIER IS USED FOR SHIPMENTS?
Our primary carrier is United Parcel Service (UPS). Standard UPS shipments will only be delivered Monday through Friday. To arrange for Saturday delivery you must contact Customer Service, and we will update your order. Saturday Delivery is not available for all addresses and may incur an additional charge.
We may also use the U.S. Postal Service for shipments, particularly when a P.O. Box address is supplied. The decision to use any particular service at any time is strictly that of ThriftyEnvelopes.com. Shipping is from Klamath Falls, Oregon.
WHAT IF MY SHIPMENT IS LOST OR ARRIVES DAMAGED?
Lost or damaged package claims should be filed with the carrier and can only be filed for shipments over $50.00 in value and within 30 days of package shipment. ThriftyEnvelopes.com is not responsible for third party shipping errors, omissions, or damage to shipments while in transit.
When a package is not delivered due to an error made by the Customer in submitting the proper shipping address, ThriftyEnvelopes.com will reship the package with corrected address and charge an additional shipping fee for the shipment. The additional shipping fee will apply even if the original order was shipped without a fee to the Customer, such as with “Free Shipping” offers.
HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
Shipping time is dependent on your location. Check the UPS Shipping Map for estimated days in transit.
Regular (Up to 7 days): Your order will be delivered within 2-7 business days (depending on your location) after the order leaves the ThriftyEnvelopes.com facility, not counting the shipping day, and not including Saturday and Sunday, or carrier holidays.
Priority (2-3 days): Your order will be delivered 2-3 business days after the order leaves ThriftyEnvelopes.com, not counting the shipping day, and not including Saturday and Sunday, or carrier holidays.
Next Day (1 day): Your order will be delivered 1 business day after the order leaves ThriftyEnvelopes.com, not counting the shipping day, and not including Saturday and Sunday, or carrier holidays.
CAN I USE MY OWN UPS OR FEDEX ACCOUNT FOR SHIPMENTS?
If you would like to use your own UPS or FedEx account for expedited shipping charges over $25.00, contact Customer Service to discuss the options.
CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER IN PERSON?
At this time, there is no option for local will-call pickup of orders. All orders will be delivered or shipped using a major shipping company such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
